When I decided to open empowered interiors, there were two goals I wanted to accomplished. The first was to offer affordable and inclusive design services. There is too much emphasis and focus on luxury design. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with servicing a particular niche, yet how many individuals are left feeling they cannot afford quality interior design? e.i. aims to create your story through affordable design, while also empowering you by making you a part of the process. My second goal was to open a shoppe that reflected my love of history and design. I want to offer my clients and customers vintage and contemporary home décor that you cannot find at At Home, Kirkland's, or Home Goods. I am a big fan of these stores, but when individuals visit my shoppe, they will find unique items, such as throw pillows and blankets, fun seasonal décor, decorative lighting. At the same time, e.i. offers vintage items from India and the Middle East, as well as furniture, updated and reimagined.
