MILESTONES Rosecrance McHenry County celebrates 10 years 422 W hen McHenry County faced the loss of vital behavioral health services. in 2012, Rosecrance was welcomed by the community to continue life-giving work. A decade later, Rosecrance McHenry County is proud to be a champion of hope for the region. through innovative treatment that impacts thou- sands of individuals and families each year. In the past 10 years, Rosecra has served over 22,000 individuals and expanded to offer a full continuum of mental health and substance use treatment in the county, Rosecrance Growth McHenry county residents were very familiar with Rosecrance's reputation as a leader in behav ioral healthcare and had been receiving expert services in other locations for many years. Rose- crance had touched many lives through residen- tial care, educational programming for youth, families, and clinicians, and other care. Thanks to strong relationships formed over the years, Rosecrance McHenry County started with a strong foundation and had key supporters in 2016 when the organization became the provider of adolescent mobile crisis response (MCR) services. This offering, which serves the commu- nity's most vulnerable, sends a counselor where a crisis may be happening within 90 minutes of rosecrance Hanry County first contact. Crisis care expanded in 2020 with the addition of MCR for adults and Rosecrance becoming the county crisis line provider. "These programs are connecting individuals, as well as families, to treatment and resources they need. This has made an invaluable impact in the county." Beyond providing quality care, Rosecrance wanted to invest in lives long after treatment. To strengthen the region's recovery community, Alumni programming launched earlier this year. This provides those on the recovery journey opportunities to build healthy relationships and encourage their walks.
