After 38 years of business in McHenry, the oil change is closing. There are many reasons for closing:
• Lack of reliable people resources
• Rising price of oil products with no end in sight.
Rising prices occur with no advance knowledge and cause customer complaints.
More oil price increases in the last 2 years than in the last 36.
Oil and filter deliveries can be 2-4 days late and not be a full delivery, which causes oil shortages for the customer.
All of the above reasons have made taking care of customer difficult and this is not the way I am used to doing business.
For these reasons I'm sorry to say that I'm giving up the business and retiring.
