About
Woodstock’s Economic Development Department, focused on growth and success, serves as a link between city administrators and business owners. It implements the City Council's goals to retain and expand existing industries and to attract new companies. It helps established and prospective businesses navigate city, county and state requirements so they can reach their maximum potential.
Questions? Ask Woodstock’s ED team. They can help with relocation, expansion, site selection and development for big and small companies—those within Woodstock, and those seeking new opportunities here. The team works hand-in-hand with City Manager's Office and coordinates activities with the city's Economic Development Commission, Woodstock Area Chamber of Commerce & Industry, McHenry County Economic Development Commission and the McHenry County Convention & Visitors Bureau.
The team also partners with Real Woodstock, a branding group that includes City Council members and community volunteers, to implement marketing and tourism strategies and encourage business collaboration.
Whether you call Woodstock home or visit for shopping, entertainment, school or work, we welcome retailers and industrialists to explore Woodstock. Our ED team is excited to discuss business with you and help you discover the business advantages our town offers.
