MOL On March 17th 2020 Sheltered Village shut down all external programs and began to "shelter in place" due to the Covid 19 outbreak. Over half of our residents and staff became positive with Covid symptoms. During June of 2020, we isolated all residents in their rooms to eliminate cross contamination of this deadly disease. Staff were working 7 days a week with many working 16-hour days. The residents were served meals in their rooms and were showered one at a time. Through the horrors of the pandemic, the community of Woodstock and McHenry County became a bright ray of hope and support. Your contributions and support made all our difficulties bearable. We may never know all the people who contributed but we remember all the love and prayers. From all of us to all of you.
